Give

Give to the work.

Gifts support the church’s work and people who need help. Everything given here goes to the church, and the church answers for all of it in the open.

A bank transfer costs the church a fraction of what a card costs, and on a large gift the difference is real money that stays with the work. Both are offered below — choose whichever you will actually use.

Mercy & Charitable Work

The church uses what it is given to preach the gospel and to help people in need. Our mercy fund is set aside from general giving to pay for rent, food, medical bills, and other immediate needs in the community. If you need help yourself, you do not need to belong to the church to ask for it.

Your receipt

A receipt is emailed for every gift. A gift of $250 or more also receives a written acknowledgment from the church, stating the date, the amount, and that no goods or services were provided in exchange — the wording the IRS requires for your records.

Where it goes

Every gift goes to the church itself, and the church’s money is governed by the elders and the board under the bylaws. What is set aside for mercy work is set aside by the board out of what the church has been given, and the board may direct it elsewhere within the church’s purposes. Nothing given here is held to a donor’s instruction.

How it is handled

Payment is taken here, on this page. Card and bank numbers are encrypted in your browser and handled by the church’s payment provider; they are never stored by the church and never reach its records. What the church keeps is the amount, the date, your name, and your email.

Another way to give

For a gift by transfer, a gift of property, or anything that needs a conversation first, write to info@new-faith.church and an elder will arrange it.
